TRIP TO
LADAKH
July 2nd - 21st
A journey to the spiritual heart of the Himalayas.
THIS IS A TRIP FOR ENGLISH-SPEAKING TRAVELERS
Ladakh, located in the trans-Himalayas of India, is a fascinating destination that transports you to a mystical world.
Known as Little Tibet, its rich history and culture are reflected in the ancient monasteries and stupas that dot the landscape.
As you explore its valleys and mountains, you will feel the connection with traditional life and the sacred air that envelops every corner.
On each route, a breathtaking view awaits you, reminding you that you are in a place where nature and spirituality intertwine.

PILGRIMAGE
Himalaya Path treks are not just simple journeys.
They are contemplative pilgrimages, designed for those seeking to connect with themselves through silence, beauty, and presence.
On every hike through the mountains, we come across stupas, gompas, and ancient temples.
The path is thus revealed as a spiritual path.
Walking in silence, among snow-capped peaks and vast skies, gives us the opportunity to cultivate mindfulness and deep introspection.
These mountains have been home to great yogis and practitioners who, for centuries, achieved contemplative and tantric realizations. Their presence has imbued the space with a naturally serene, meditative, and auspicious energy.
Therefore, exploring the Himalayas is not just a journey.
It is a transformative experience for the mind and heart.

ITINERARY

LEH
LEH
Welcome to Leh!
You will take the flight from New Delhi to Leh with a journey of 1 hour and a half.
During the first two days we will take the time to acclimatize to the altitude of 11,500 ft in the capital Ladakh.
We will be staying in a cozy Guest House near the center, allowing you to explore the city on foot and avoid the car congestion and smog that increases every year.
This is an ideal time to relax, take a stroll and discover the charms of Leh.
INDUS RIVER
Here begins our contemplative journey along the mighty Indus River!
On this tour I will take you to the beautiful villages of Timosgang, Lamayuru and Alchi. We will visit the main monasteries of the villages and explore the nearby temples, immersing ourselves in the meditation and peace that these places offer.

INDUS RIVER

NUBRA VALLEY
NUBRA VALLEY
You will discover the idyllic Nubra Valley, the only region in the Himalayas with sand dunes, creating a poetic landscape you'll remember forever.
Here, we'll walk to the magnificent Maitreya Buddha statue at Diskit Monastery.
We'll do small hikes to visit nearby temples and do meditation inside.
Crossing the Warila high pass, we'll visit Sakti Village.
Chai will take you to visit Guru Rinpoche's cave, which has been her retreat place since 2017.
LAKES
I will take you to see the two sacred lakes of Ladakh:
Pangong located at 14,270 ft.
And Tso Moriri at 14,836 ft.
In both places we'll take mindful walks near the lake. And in Tso Moriri, we'll sleep in the camps they set up during the summer. We'll be fortunate enough to witness the monastery's masked ball, a tradition over 1000 years old in Buddhist monasteries.

I AM CHAI
And I want to take you to discover what I treasure most about the Himalayas: their contemplative energy.
The first time I traveled to these mountains in 2014, after 10 months of pilgrimage, studies, practices, and retreats, that trip changed my life.
I had returned to that place that my heart recognized as the home that in past lives was a light on my spiritual path.
Since then I have returned repeatedly to do solitary meditation retreats and pilgrimages following in the footsteps of my teacher Guru Rinpoche.
I have designed this trip with much love and dedication so that you can enjoy an unforgettable experience.

Namaste
Tashi Delek
